Our Company

Anderson Environmental Consulting (AEC) is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (OMWBE) specializing in environmental, cultural, and biological services throughout Washington, Idaho, and Montana. We work with a range of public and private agencies, utilities, private developers, and landowners. Our range of services includes: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents, such as Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and technical reports; and services such as wetland delineation reports, cultural resource surveys, project permitting, and construction support.

We collaborate with your business to leverage resources and develop functional, creative solutions to complex projects. We believe in continuously sharpening our knowledge by applying new, innovative tools for the most efficient, accurate, and timely completion of projects. We strive for a balanced approach to environmental stewardship.

Michelle Anderson founded AEC as a one woman shop in 2006. Since then, AEC has grown to a lean team of 4+ core employees and an expanding circle of part-time employees and specialty subcontractors.

We are on several term agreements including the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC), Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), US Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Parks Service (NPS), and several County, City, and utility rosters.
